This has been a wonderful journey. I'm on my way to my goal weight of a 150. I just pray and hope i get there because I'm starting to enjoy sweets again but I guess it's a good thing I'm eating sugar-free sweets.But it's all bad. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm doing great and keep up the good work all.

OK I'm still strugling to get under this 200 pound mark.I notice myself eating more and being hungrey more but everyone says they see it to but when I do eat I only eat a little but it feels like I'm eating a lot but it scares me because I don't want to gain any weight back.That's the good thing I havn't gained any back .I need tips on how to shed more weight faster than what it's doing because it's slowing down and I have ways to go to get to my goal of 150 pounds.I'm still wearing a size 14 but some are getting a little lose I need help.So pray for me all.

Just got over the flu from the weekend but it didn't stop me from eatin it's hard to take anything.I'm better now thank God God Bless all.

Dr.Appt today Denise said I was doing great.She also said i was only 9 pounds away from what Dr.Lin said I would be with in a year time frame but i have lost it way faster then a year.I had to do blood work so I'm waiting for the results.I didn't want to weigh in at that time because i had just got finish eating lunch.But it turned out well I'll keep up the good work.

I know it's been a while since I've updated I hope everyone had a nice Holiday and a Happy New Year.I been so busy enjoying the attention that everyone is giving me and I feel like a whole new person since I've lost the weight I have no regrets.I love it I still have some ways to go to get to my goal weight also I still don't eat very much I think I eat the wrong things alot but I don't gain a pound from it.I take the Flaxseed Oil pills a lot that makes me go to the bathroom I would diffinetley reccomend those.Until next time God Bless.

I'm starting to count down the days of my surgery and it's like the closer I get the moe excited I'm feeling.I go this friday to get my lab work done which is required within 3 weeks before my surgery date.Hopefully everything comes back ok from that because I have heard that any problems can push your surgery date back.I already have my suitcase packed actually I've had that packed since7/01/06.So wish me luck.
8/4/06I WENT THIS MORNING TO GET MY BLOOD WORK DONE AT THE WEST INN CENTER.WHEN I GOT TO THE 3RD FLOOR LAB THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS LIKE YOU HAVE TO GO TO YOUR HOME CENTER TO GET THIS DONE.I WAS LIKE NOOO THEY TOLD ME I CAN GO TO ANY CENTER.SHE WAS LIKE SIKE SHE WAS LAUGHING AND SAID IF YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE WHEN I SAID YOU COULDN'T GET IT DONE HERE.SO I WENT BACK OF COARSE I'M SCARED OF NEEDLES AND THEY TOOK 4 TUBES IN ALL.THEY TOLD ME MY RESULTS WOULD BE FAXED TO MY SURGEON IN 48 HRS SO I WAS COOL WITH THAT.BUT IT WAS ONE OTHER THING FINDING OUT I HAD TO GET ANOTHER FULL PHYSICAL FROM MY DOCTOR SO HURRIED TO SEE IF I COULD GET AN EMERGENCY APPT WITH DOCTOR THEY SENT A E-MAIL TO MY DR.HER NURSE CALLED ME BACK 2HRS LATER AND SAID I COULD COME IN 8-11-06 AND SHE WILL FAX INFO TO SURGEON RIGHT AFTER SO I WAS GLAD OF THAT BECAUSE I WAS GETTING WORRY THEY WAS GOING TO HAVE EVERYTHING ON TIME TO DO SURGERY.SO SINCE I'M A LITTLE AT EASE NOW I CAN DO MY WORK NOW AND I THINK I'LL WORK A LITTLE OVERTIME PEACE UNTIL NEXT TIME.

8/10/06OK LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT YESTERDAY I TALKED TO THE NURSE AT THE GW HOSPITAL TO GET REGISTERED THERE.FINDING OUT I HAD TO HAVE A EKG CHEST X-RAY WHICH DR.LINS OFFICE SAID I DIDN'T NEED GW SAID EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THAT WHO IS GETTING THIS KIND OF SURGERY.ALSO NO ONE EVER TOLD ME I HAD TO GO TO GW TO GET BLOOD TAKEN AND ONLY GW COULD DO IT.THEY JUST NEED IT INCASE YOU NEED A BLOOD TRANSFUSION THEY WITH ALREADY HAVE YOUR TYPE BLOOD ON HAND AND WAITING.SO I WENT THIS MORNING FOR GW TO TAKE A BLOOD SAMPLE AT 8:30.WHEN I GOT THERE I FOUND OUT I DIDN'T REGISTER ON LINE CORRECTLY.SO THEY HELPED ME WITH THAT.THEY GO OVER EVERYTHING WITH YOU AS FAR AS PAPERWORK EMERGENCY CONTACT,VERIYFYING IF YOUR PERSONAL INFO IS CORRECT,IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT A WILL.I SAID HELL TO THE NAH I'M NOT CLAIMING THAT.AFTER THAT THE PUT A BAND ON YOU WRIST TI GO TO ADMIN TESTING ROOM WERE THEY GIVE YOU PAPERWORK TO LOOK OVER LIKE INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO DO BEFORE SURGERY AND PROCEDURES TO DO ON DAY OF SURGERY.OH AND THEY GIVE YOU A VOUCHER THE DAY OF SURGERY TO GIVE TO PARKING ATTENDANT WHEN YOUR VISITOR LEAVES SO THEY WON'T HAVE TO PAY.ANYWAY THE NURSE TOOK ME BACK ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MYSELF.ANOTHER NURSE TOOK MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND THEN SHE TOOK ONE TUBE OF BLOOD AND I WAS DONE AND ON MY WAY TO WORK.UNTIL NEXT TIME PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening everyone I'm counting down my time now.Ttoday's my last day at work I didn't come in early like I normally do to do overtime.I gave my desk a good cleaning and organized it to know if anything has been moved out of place and for warned everyone to stay off it.I put on perfume his morning and with smelling everyone else's today my allergies is killing me I've been sneezing all morning long every time someone comes around be with a fragrance I sneeze.I'm like the stat this now get back Satan you will not stop my surgery.On top of that I have a sinus headache.But that's ok I have Tylenol Sinus at home I think they said I could take Tylenol.So everyone continue to pay for me Thursday is my big day.Oh this liquid diet is killing me but I've been doing it.See everyone on the loser side Thursday evening.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok everyone tomorrow is my lucky day I'm feeling a lot better then I did yesterday from sinus.I had to pray over myself last night because I didn't want anything to hold my surgery up I tell you prayers work thank god.So this is how my day started I woke up around 9:30 so I wouldn't have to worry about eating breakfast.Then I dranked that nasty laxitive and it was horrible I almost gagged.I would say in about 15 min I was running to the restroom.I waited until 10:20 to drink the other laxitive as order per Dr.Lin it was even worse I tell you that stuff makes you lose your appetite.So far today i've only dranked green tea and ate jello.I guess owe it chicken broth for dinner and jello.Last night my sister cooked fresh fried fish and home fries and fresh green beans for the family >boy was I suffering I wanted some so bad I just wanted to lick it but I did good I just closed my room door and made my self go to bed early.At least today I'm doing fine because i'm to scared to eat the things I can eat because it will make me go to the restroom.I think I'm getting a little nervous now which is to be expected.Right now I'm cleaning house and makeing shore everything is ok for when my son goes to school Monday.Well i guess I'll see you guys on the loser side Saturday or Sunday when I come home.Don't forget pray for me God Bless.

First of all thanx for everones prayers.I'm going to start off with day one when I arrived at hospital.We had a hard time finding it so if you don't know the way leave out a little earlier.Ok so we parked in the garage and walked across the steet to the hospital (you might want to leave your uggage in the car intil you get in you room which will be hours and this advice is coming from my family who was there because thay had to carry it everywhere and they said that was a pain).Make sure you have I.D and Medical card go to 2nd floor once off elevator make right go in double doors sign in at front desk only put last name,Dr.name and time.They tell you to sit diwn I waited about 15 min nurse came out to get me family stay seated until they call them back.Once in back you take pregnacy test then go back to bed take off all your clothes put on gown and socks they give you.Put all your stuff in bag provided.Lay down they come and take temperture and vitals.Anatigalist comes in talk to you about all that they are going to do you sign about 3 or 4 consents and sticks an i.v in your hand.He sends the nurse to get my family to stay back there until Dr.Lin leaves. Then Dr.Lin who is the best comes in and talk to you to make sure your ok and ready.Then the anatigalist comes back sticks a needle in your i.v.I asked what is that for as there wheeling me to surgery room.He says it's something thats going to make you sleepy and happy.I gets in the surgery room slide over to surgery bed they ask me if I'm ok I say yes and that's all I remember I was out for the lights.When I wake up I'm whispering that my stomach hurts and belive me it does.The nurse comes and hook me up to get morphine and it starts feeling better but I'm still going in and out.They call my family back I talk to them alittle they say Dr.Lin was great He I must have followed all diet percidures because the surgery was easy.They actually finished way before time they went to get my family but they weren't there because they were told it was going to be finshed until way later.After that my family left they put me in a room on 5th floor.My family came up I slept while they were there.Now I'm going to tell you about my experience In the hospital.You get 4 nurses a day 2 is a nurse other 2 is tech which takes vitals and it is 2 shifts aday so 2 for each shift.Some of the nurses aren't nice.It's one that is horrible nurse Madeline.when you puse the nurse button they might not come until 30 mins later.You don't get alot of sleep because the vital and i.v machine keeps beeping when your not breething right or something is wrong with i.v and it takes the nurses a long time to look at the machines.You get 3 heperine shots a day it's like blood thiner for no blood clogs to come I got all mine in my left leg after a while you don't feel them sticking you.But the day I went home my leg was sore and bruised and had alot of lumps in it.I 'll finish later I'm getting tired now.

I went to my 1 week post op today at Dr.Lin.I lost 17 pounds yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.He said I have to drink more ounces of liquid a day.It's hard because I have to make myself drink the water and protein shake because I'm not hungrey but I'm going to do it.He said I can eat some pureed food now but I'm not ready yet.He couldn't believe how good I'm getting around.But I feel good.

I only lost 5 pounds a little disappointed but Denise said that happens.I guess I was more upset because I had been walking the track every other day.I'm still not eating much but I am eating.Hopefully when I go back in a month I would have lost more.

Ok where do I start.First of all last Thursday & Friday I experienced bad stomach pains from my menstraul I'm gathering it had something to do with my new pouch because I normally don't even have cramps at all.I called Denise and she just told me to take Ibprofin and rest she said it was normal I'll experience a lot of different things now.Last week I only went to the gym 1 time bad me but I'm back on track this week.Monday I experienced the worse pain in my life worse then having a baby.I almost asked my sister to take me to the emergency room.I drinked a little soy milk and about 10 mins later I was balled up in a fetal position crying calling out to jesus and this is no lie.I had to make myself vomit to get it out after that I felt a little better but it still hurted through the night.Not thinking maybe I shouldn't have drinked it because it was vanilla soy milk and it might have been to sweet.But I'll tell you this you will never ever hear about me drinking any kind of soy milk for the rest of my life that's how bad I was hurting.The good news out of all off this is I'm in a (size 16 now yeah!!). I have not been in a 16 since after I had my son 12 years ago.God Bless until next time.

8/4/06I WENT THIS MORNING TO GET MY BLOOD WORK DONE AT THE WEST INN CENTER.WHEN I GOT TO THE 3RD FLOOR LAB THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS LIKE YOU HAVE TO GO TO YOUR HOME CENTER TO GET THIS DONE.I WAS LIKE NOOO THEY TOLD ME I CAN GO TO ANY CENTER.SHE WAS LIKE SIKE SHE WAS LAUGHING AND SAID IF YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE WHEN I SAID YOU COULDN'T GET IT DONE HERE.SO I WENT BACK OF COARSE I'M SCARED OF NEEDLES AND THEY TOOK 4 TUBES IN ALL.THEY TOLD ME MY RESULTS WOULD BE FAXED TO MY SURGEON IN 48 HRS SO I WAS COOL WITH THAT.BUT IT WAS ONE OTHER THING FINDING OUT I HAD TO GET ANOTHER FULL PHYSICAL FROM MY DOCTOR SO HURRIED TO SEE IF I COULD GET AN EMERGENCY APPT WITH DOCTOR THEY SENT A E-MAIL TO MY DR.HER NURSE CALLED ME BACK 2HRS LATER AND SAID I COULD COME IN 8-11-06 AND SHE WILL FAX INFO TO SURGEON RIGHT AFTER SO I WAS GLAD OF THAT BECAUSE I WAS GETTING WORRY THEY WAS GOING TO HAVE EVERYTHING ON TIME TO DO SURGERY.SO SINCE I'M A LITTLE AT EASE NOW I CAN DO MY WORK NOW AND I THINK I'LL WORK A LITTLE OVERTIME PEACE UNTIL NEXT TIME.

8/10/06OK LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT YESTERDAY I TALKED TO THE NURSE AT THE GW HOSPITAL TO GET REGISTERED THERE.FINDING OUT I HAD TO HAVE A EKG CHEST X-RAY WHICH DR.LINS OFFICE SAID I DIDN'T NEED GW SAID EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THAT WHO IS GETTING THIS KIND OF SURGERY.ALSO NO ONE EVER TOLD ME I HAD TO GO TO GW TO GET BLOOD TAKEN AND ONLY GW COULD DO IT.THEY JUST NEED IT INCASE YOU NEED A BLOOD TRANSFUSION THEY WITH ALREADY HAVE YOUR TYPE BLOOD ON HAND AND WAITING.SO I WENT THIS MORNING FOR GW TO TAKE A BLOOD SAMPLE AT 8:30.WHEN I GOT THERE I FOUND OUT I DIDN'T REGISTER ON LINE CORRECTLY.SO THEY HELPED ME WITH THAT.THEY GO OVER EVERYTHING WITH YOU AS FAR AS PAPERWORK EMERGENCY CONTACT,VERIYFYING IF YOUR PERSONAL INFO IS CORRECT,IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT A WILL.I SAID HELL TO THE NAH I'M NOT CLAIMING THAT.AFTER THAT THE PUT A BAND ON YOU WRIST TI GO TO ADMIN TESTING ROOM WERE THEY GIVE YOU PAPERWORK TO LOOK OVER LIKE INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO DO BEFORE SURGERY AND PROCEDURES TO DO ON DAY OF SURGERY.OH AND THEY GIVE YOU A VOUCHER THE DAY OF SURGERY TO GIVE TO PARKING ATTENDANT WHEN YOUR VISITOR LEAVES SO THEY WON'T HAVE TO PAY.ANYWAY THE NURSE TOOK ME BACK ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MYSELF.ANOTHER NURSE TOOK MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND THEN SHE TOOK ONE TUBE OF BLOOD AND I WAS DONE AND ON MY WAY TO WORK.UNTIL NEXT TIME PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening everyone I'm counting down my time now.Ttoday's my last day at work I didn't come in early like I normally do to do overtime.I gave my desk a good cleaning and organized it to know if anything has been moved out of place and for warned everyone to stay off it.I put on perfume his morning and with smelling everyone else's today my allergies is killing me I've been sneezing all morning long every time someone comes around be with a fragrance I sneeze.I'm like the stat this now get back Satan you will not stop my surgery.On top of that I have a sinus headache.But that's ok I have Tylenol Sinus at home I think they said I could take Tylenol.So everyone continue to pay for me Thursday is my big day.Oh this liquid diet is killing me but I've been doing it.See everyone on the loser side Thursday evening.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok everyone tomorrow is my lucky day I'm feeling a lot better then I did yesterday from sinus.I had to pray over myself last night because I didn't want anything to hold my surgery up I tell you prayers work thank god.So this is how my day started I woke up around 9:30 so I wouldn't have to worry about eating breakfast.Then I dranked that nasty laxitive and it was horrible I almost gagged.I would say in about 15 min I was running to the restroom.I waited until 10:20 to drink the other laxitive as order per Dr.Lin it was even worse I tell you that stuff makes you lose your appetite.So far today i've only dranked green tea and ate jello.I guess owe it chicken broth for dinner and jello.Last night my sister cooked fresh fried fish and home fries and fresh green beans for the family >boy was I suffering I wanted some so bad I just wanted to lick it but I did good I just closed my room door and made my self go to bed early.At least today I'm doing fine because i'm to scared to eat the things I can eat because it will make me go to the restroom.I think I'm getting a little nervous now which is to be expected.Right now I'm cleaning house and makeing shore everything is ok for when my son goes to school Monday.Well i guess I'll see you guys on the loser side Saturday or Sunday when I come home.Don't forget pray for me God Bless.

First of all thanx for everones prayers.I'm going to start off with day one when I arrived at hospital.We had a hard time finding it so if you don't know the way leave out a little earlier.Ok so we parked in the garage and walked across the steet to the hospital (you might want to leave your uggage in the car intil you get in you room which will be hours and this advice is coming from my family who was there because thay had to carry it everywhere and they said that was a pain).Make sure you have I.D and Medical card go to 2nd floor once off elevator make right go in double doors sign in at front desk only put last name,Dr.name and time.They tell you to sit diwn I waited about 15 min nurse came out to get me family stay seated until they call them back.Once in back you take pregnacy test then go back to bed take off all your clothes put on gown and socks they give you.Put all your stuff in bag provided.Lay down they come and take temperture and vitals.Anatigalist comes in talk to you about all that they are going to do you sign about 3 or 4 consents and sticks an i.v in your hand.He sends the nurse to get my family to stay back there until Dr.Lin leaves. Then Dr.Lin who is the best comes in and talk to you to make sure your ok and ready.Then the anatigalist comes back sticks a needle in your i.v.I asked what is that for as there wheeling me to surgery room.He says it's something thats going to make you sleepy and happy.I gets in the surgery room slide over to surgery bed they ask me if I'm ok I say yes and that's all I remember I was out for the lights.When I wake up I'm whispering that my stomach hurts and belive me it does.The nurse comes and hook me up to get morphine and it starts feeling better but I'm still going in and out.They call my family back I talk to them alittle they say Dr.Lin was great He I must have followed all diet percidures because the surgery was easy.They actually finished way before time they went to get my family but they weren't there because they were told it was going to be finshed until way later.After that my family left they put me in a room on 5th floor.My family came up I slept while they were there.Now I'm going to tell you about my experience In the hospital.You get 4 nurses a day 2 is a nurse other 2 is tech which takes vitals and it is 2 shifts aday so 2 for each shift.Some of the nurses aren't nice.It's one that is horrible nurse Madeline.when you puse the nurse button they might not come until 30 mins later.You don't get alot of sleep because the vital and i.v machine keeps beeping when your not breething right or something is wrong with i.v and it takes the nurses a long time to look at the machines.You get 3 heperine shots a day it's like blood thiner for no blood clogs to come I got all mine in my left leg after a while you don't feel them sticking you.But the day I went home my leg was sore and bruised and had alot of lumps in it.I 'll finish later I'm getting tired now.

I went to my 1 week post op today at Dr.Lin.I lost 17 pounds yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.He said I have to drink more ounces of liquid a day.It's hard because I have to make myself drink the water and protein shake because I'm not hungrey but I'm going to do it.He said I can eat some pureed food now but I'm not ready yet.He couldn't believe how good I'm getting around.But I feel good.

I only lost 5 pounds a little disappointed but Denise said that happens.I guess I was more upset because I had been walking the track every other day.I'm still not eating much but I am eating.Hopefully when I go back in a month I would have lost more.

First day back to work doing pretty good getting alot of compliments.Still eating very little.I went to open my membership back up at the gym today I start tomorrow yeah.Weighed in today at gym also lost 10 lbs yeah.

Ok so I've been going to the gym for the past 2 weeks.Also I've been doing better with my eatin I'm eating 3 small meals a day now oh and I love my sugar free popcicles I think I eat about 3 to 4 a day,Anyway I lost 8lbs yeah!!! talk to you'll later.

Ok where do I start.First of all last Thursday & Friday I experienced bad stomach pains from my menstraul I'm gathering it had something to do with my new pouch because I normally don't even have cramps at all.I called Denise and she just told me to take Ibprofin and rest she said it was normal I'll experience a lot of different things now.Last week I only went to the gym 1 time bad me but I'm back on track this week.Monday I experienced the worse pain in my life worse then having a baby.I almost asked my sister to take me to the emergency room.I drinked a little soy milk and about 10 mins later I was balled up in a fetal position crying calling out to jesus and this is no lie.I had to make myself vomit to get it out after that I felt a little better but it still hurted through the night.Not thinking maybe I shouldn't have drinked it because it was vanilla soy milk and it might have been to sweet.But I'll tell you this you will never ever hear about me drinking any kind of soy milk for the rest of my life that's how bad I was hurting.The good news out of all off this is I'm in a (size 16 now yeah!!). I have not been in a 16 since after I had my son 12 years ago.God Bless until next time.
