Really trying to stick to the liquid diet after surgery, it's been 4 weeks since solid food and I'm having a hell of a time. My pain seems worse than normal (as I understand it). I just started bowel movements yesterday after 5 days without. Now, it seems I can't stop!  Maybe the pain will subside but i am just sitting at home thinking I may have made the biggest mistake of my life. I had 2 doctors who really pushed me, but because I'm not as big as alot of other patients, people really seem to think I'm taking the easy way out. Let me tell you, if this is the easy way....I should have stuck it out with the other way!  Really feeling sorry for myself last 2 days (Surgery was Friday, Nov 09, 2012). It's not like I can take it back and have it reversed, I am just a little pissed at the bureaucracy at the Ottawa Hospital. I swear, if you are planning on getting this done, AVOID Ottawa. I have had nothing but negative experiences with them and it's not because I'm a dick. The exact opposite actually, if you even raise you voice, they shut you down because they have zero tolerance. Very unimpressed with the whole experience. Maybe I'll have more positive to say later, but right now, that's all I got!
