Wanting Surgery

So, I finally bit the bullet and gathered up enough strength to talk to my primary care doctor about bariatric surgery. Surprisingly, he agreed that this is what I needed...I thought for sure he would be like, "Now, Nora, this is NOT what you need - you need to follow, blah, blah diet", but I guess he has kept aware of all the failed attempts.

I have my initial consultation Tuesday, July 30th. I am getting so excited, but also kinda scared at the same time. I'm not scared of the surgery, at this time I'm just more scared of the change. I know this is a life long commitment and more than anything I want to succeed!

This website was referred to me by a co-worker who had surgery and I am so thankful he did.
