Jacqueline: I take Paxil for anxiety, and it's really made a difference in my nervousness/stress level. It doesn't make me feel *different* in any way, just calmer. Worth looking into! Good luck to you.

Jacqueline, A huge cyber hug sent your way....Honestly to me it sounds like they all knew they were to blame and to lessen their guilt at screwing up they target you. Kind of like a small child saying my sister or brother did it, not me. Hold your head up, you did nothing wrong. And as I have said many times when learning a new job, I may make a mistake once but you won't catch me make it twice. If you didn't know it was in your responsiblities / duties, why would you have been closly watching for it? Of course you wouldn't have! None of us would. But now you know.. never again will it happen! God bless you for working in that kind of facility.. that is by far the most difficult job out there! Tami

Jacqualine, Do NOT let them mae you the bad person!! That door SHOULD HAVE A BUZZER as all the doors should. Maybe you could point this out! They are responsible for that not you. Don't feel so bad. It does happen (they cna and do sneak out). We have several facilities in this area and its in the news all the time that a woman or man wanders. They are usually found within no time. There was even one that was found clear in another state, they still haven't figured out how that happened. Speculation is he found a ride and the person who picked him up didn't "know" he was and "escapee" so to speak. He was fine but had everyone terrified of the worst. So anyway I feel they need to get a buzzer on that door. Maybe you should start bugging them about that!
