"My first impression of Dr Melkonian was at the bariatric surgery seminar in November 05. He seemed like a knowledgeable doctor who enjoyed talking about bariatric surgery. I was impressed. I then researched him on this web site and was happy with what I saw. When I met Dr. Melkonian at my first pre-surgical consultation on 1/13/06 I was still more impressed with his patience and willingness to answer all my questions. He was very thorough in explaining all of the risks and I left feeling that I had a good understanding of what my body will be going through. 3/3/06 I had my 2nd pre-surgical consultation with Dr. Melkonian today and am still more impressed with the professionalism of both the doctor and that of his staff. I am 100% sure I've made the right choice in a surgeon. 3/26/2006 My surgery was Tuesday. Dr. Melkonian was professional and I would recommend him to anyone I know. I had no pain that I can remember...I am up and about and going back to work tomorrow. He is fantastic!"
