Hi!! My name is Jayme and I have a story to tell you!! I have been overweight most of my life. I was made fun of in high school and made to feel less than a person through stares and whispers as an adult. I am very self-concious about the way I look and so I would do the "YO-YO" diets!! Well, I developed some health issues and deecided the RNY would be the best way to go. I researched for about a year and now I have a date set!! I have an awesome support group in my family and friends. The Lord has truly blessed me in my life. I have a wonderful husband who supports me in all that I do. Without him, I don't know what I would do. He is a great husband, friend, and daddy. I thank him for loving me the way he does. I also am greatly blessed by my daughter. She truly is my gift from God. She is so beautiful and special in all ways. I was blessed also to have such wonderful parents. I would not be able to have this surgery without them as my insurance company does not cover it. They paid cash for the whole thing. I could never thank them enough. My friends are wonderful and I am so thankful they are in my life. I met a new friend just days ago when I went to do all my labs. She is doing the band. I know God will be with me and my family during this time, and look forward to many years of healthy living. God bless you.
