My band is still keeping me in line....7 years!!

This morning I weighed 130 pounds, my lapband has continued to keep me from regaining excess weight!  I realize that I am (and always will be) an obsessive over eater.  I have / had tried to change that behavior in myself for years... but could never find a cure.  This band is my food police, if takes the control out of my hands, when it comes to over eating, I CANNOT over eat!!  Though I still love food, all kinds, and sometimes I get a little bummed because I really wanted to have that dessert or that huge burrito, but the door slams shut.... saying "HEY, YOU'RE DONE, NO MORE IS GOING DOWN"! 

My band is a life saver.... and after 7 years of having this, I am still ever so thankful that I was able to have the surgery!!

***I started this journey at age 44, on June 26, 2007, weighing 245 lbs.  Today I weight 130 lbs --- I have lost a total of 115 lbs !!
