I started at almost 474. I lost down to 300. I have since in the 5 years since surgery gained back about 40 lbs. The surgery has been an up and down battle for me. The amount of food I can eat is small, IF, I do not drink any fluid with meal. But if I do not drink the food I eat gets stuck almost immediately an then I have problems. So I still do drink fluids with meals, which allows me to eat too much. So I continue fighting the good fight and staying busy. I now spin wool into yarn and knit socks and hats. I have yahoo groups for knitting. I try to stay as busy as I possibly can. I am still too heavy to exercise, but I did buy a Gazelle. I am still trying. It will just be a struggle for me.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. ~*~Hugs~*~

Today is the second anniversary of my new life. I started at almost 473 pounds. I am now weighing in at 300, up or down a couple. Only one more class to go for my second college degree. I am the happiest I have ever been in my whole life. The surgery was the best choice I could have made. Thank you to all my dear friends here for your support and kindness.
