3 years Today

Today it has been 3yrs from the start of my wls journey, I had my first surgey on this day and 2 days later had to have an emergency open rny... I had my next surgery on Aug 12th 2009 open to fix all the problems from my original surgeries.. I am doing well thank god for Dr Deveney at OHSU he fixed everything that Dr Archer screwed up..  I am still not at goal 20 pounds to go but I have stayed the same weight for well over a year I need to get my butt in gear and get these extra pounds off.

Another Surgery

I had surgery on August 12th for Jejunum repair and 3 twists in my bowel a hernia in my belly button and adhesions. I stayed at my sisters when I was released from the hospital being I had to go back in 10 days. Once I came home I was told by Dr Deveney that I was able to do anything that I felt up to except mow the lawn. So I had a good time cleaning my house and overdid it with the vacuum and ended up with some sort of virus that put me in the hospital by ambulance I am still feeling like shit I cant wait until I feel better. The only thing I can say is thank GOD it restarted my weight loss. I am in the 160's..

Update on ME!!!!

We had a great fathers day my dad came over and spent 5 days with us and what a nice visit. the girls and I got our pics done for Kevin and my Dad. they turned out nice I have been battleing with having Starbucks everyday it really sucks. having them every day has made me go up on the scale 6 pounds and now that I have cut them out now im back down. YEAH.

I cant believe its been a year. went and seen Dr. Archer we are trying a new med to see if it will help out with the pain if not I will need to have further testing done. stopped by T-Mobile to see my friends that was way cool no one could believe it was me they say I have changed so much they just could not get over it. it was awesome.

Wow I cant believe that I only have a month until a year has passed already. I hit 177 pounds yesterday and my size 16 jeans are falling off me but im not ready to trade in on the 14's even though kevin and I last week tried on the cutest pair of levis in a 14 and they fit without me laying on the bench haha. he loved them I told him I need to loose more. I had a Cat Scan the other day due to having pain with eating it came back ok I will be seeing Dr Archer on May 2nd for my 1 yr surgaversary. and I have lost 115 pounds. just thought I would check in Life is Good.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am in the 180's

Holly cow the last time I was in the 180's range was when I got married in 1992... I should be happy that my size 16 jeans are to big for me now but not happy that I have to buy new ones. Got offered a job yesterday for Senske I will be doing customer service for them and I am very happy about that since I am so tired of sitting home on my butt.. I am excited to meet some new people I have been very lonley since moving back over here but thank GOD I have been able to stay on track.. I got a new ski coat for xmas from my inlaws last year I was wearing a mens 3x and it was tight around the butt this year I am wearing a ladies xl and it fits with room Yeah for me just wanted to share ....
