Line of Luna bars

"I love these. I use these as a meal substitute and a sweet when I need one. My favorite is the Nutz over Chocolate, but I also like the Chocolate Pecan Pie and the Orange Bliss. There are about a dozen flavors to choose from. A bit high in carbs but only 180 calories and 10 gr of protien. Great bang for the buck. "

Alan Schuricht

"I have only met Dr. Schurict once during the initial consultation, but he seems very kind, open and knowledgable. I was so nervous that I really did not ask alot of questions. His office staff seemed to be very thorough. He insists on a lifetime of follow up so it seems he is very concerned about aftercare. I hope to get a better understanding of him on my next visit. Now that surgery is over, I feel even more strongly that Dr. Schuricht was the right surgeon for me. I have a bit of a problem with his office staff, though. They always tend to be disinterested in me or my question. They do not return calls as they should. One issue that needs to be made very clear is that Pennsylvannia Hospital is a teaching facility. Dr. Schuricht used residents extensively. I rarely saw Dr. Schuricht while in the hospital, but residents and interns wondered in droves. I would have liked seeing the surgeon a bit more and less of the residents. While I am sure that they did their job, very few introduced themselves or explained why they were there. Disconcerting to say the least. On my first post-op visit, Dr. Schuricht took a great deal of time to explain things and made sure that he answered everyone of my questions. Very calming feeling after this visit. Office staff still bothers me though."

Pennsylvania Hospital

"Nurses were the best. I only had problems with one nurse at night. She was rude and walked around with a chip on her shoulder. She regularilly failed to give me something that I needed, whether it was meds to prevent infection to a machine to run the leg compressers. The morning nurse spent a good bit of time trying to correct night nurses job. It is important to rememebr that this is a school and rounds of student doctors where everywhere. I think more people have seen my belly than every before. It confused me many times because I did not have "a" doctor that I could talk to. Just residents. Dr. Schuricht only came in once. I found out later that the nurse and resident released me before Dr. Schuricht got there. He was looking for me but they had sent me home. Over all I was not dissatisfied with the hospital and would go there again if I needed to."
