Jennifer, I'm so sorry for you loss. I know that things seem hopeless right now and that you are devastated and sad. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers tonight. I pray that you all may find comfort in our support. If I could be there with you I would put my arms around you and give you the biggest hug. Please let us know how you are doing whenever you can. i know i dont know you jennifer but my prayers go out to you. i also have lost a brother to a heart attack. he was only 46 and died in the truck as my baby brother was trying to get him to the hospital. he was probably 600 lbs or more and a diabetic. god how i wish we would have known more about this surgery 2 years ago. (by us i mean my family) 2 months after he passed away my two oldest boys were both diagnosed as diabetic the same day. then 5 months later my father passed away due to 3 heart attacks. 10 days after we buried him my oldest brother's kidneys failed and he also had a heart attack. i'm not here for sympathy but to let you know that others have been where you are now and i for one knows what you are going thru. my heart goes out to you. and i wish there was something i could do for you. but i know there is nothing anyone can do but pray and be there for you when you need to talk. you are so lucky to have the wonderful people on this site. i have a wonderful group of friends online too as well as here in town with me. they have all been my rock and i'm so grateful for them. hugs and prayers to you jennifer. kathy

Hi Jennifer, I'm 2 weeks new to this site and beginning the process for surgery when I read the message board regarding your brother. Please know that someone you don't know is praying for you and your family. Even though I know God can and will give us strength during these times, I also know that He's very compassionate to all who are hurting. There is a natural greiving process that everyone goes through whenever there's a loss in our lives; so it's absolutely okay to grieve in the way you need to. My prayer is that you'll experience peace even in the midst of what might seem confusing and that you'll be able to rest well as you sleep at night. I'm also praying that every detail that must take place will happen without any major hang-ups. Your web page was incredible. I do feel like I know you in a small way just by reading everything you wrote. Thank you for sharing yourself with so many others. Jamie
