Awaiting insurance

i had my dietitian consult this week.  Hoping everything will be forwarded to insurance this next week for a loop duodenal switch.  

In August 2014 I was approved by insurance for a vertical sleeve.  On August 27 I was admitted into ICU for blood clots in the lungs.  After 6 months of taking warfarin, additional testing, etc. my doctor released me for the sleeve surgery in July 2015.

i had my appt wiht Dr. Daniel Cottam in September.  He convinced me on the loop duodenal switch.  I'm 56 years old, bad hip, bad back, diabetes that is very hard to control, high blood pressure, yadda yadda yadda.  I have one shot.  Might as well have the surgery that will most likely help bring my health back.

With that, I will post again when I have news.
