hi jennifer, i am 7 weeks out today and doing fine. stalled at 27 1/2 #'s but know its only temporary. after reading the boards for several months now i am truly thankful for dr. b. and the quality of care in mn. as many of our sisters/brothers aren't as fortunate. continued success to us both and i hope to see you posting again. gail

Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 108 pounds AND AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THE CENTURY CLUB!!! Good luck

Hi Jennifer! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. Hi there! I too had Dr B and let me tell you, you are in the BEST hands!! I had my DS/bpd wls 14 months ago and started at 503...now am 340 and havent had even 1 single complication! Never thrown up and couldnt be happier or healthier! :) GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS ON your NEW JOURNEY IN LIFE! You deserve the best! :) Lisa
