"This was my first time every going to the new hospital in Washington County which is now named Meritus Medical Center. I noticed in the waiting rooms and in the private rooms that they had chairs to accomodate larger people, which I had never seen a hospital take that into consideration. The nurses that I had were extremely nice, I never had to ask for any pain medicine because I was attached to a pain pump and could provide the medicine to myself but when ever I told them that I felt sick they would come right in and give me something so that I would get sick. I must say this was the first time I've ever had to be admitted to the hospital and I would defintely go back."
"My first impression of Dr. Rosenberger is that he was very nice, very friendly and so down to earth. Nothing has changed about that at all. The morning of my surgery they as him and Dr. Small were early and came in and chatted with me. He made me feel good and not so nerves about my surgery. I haven't had any problems with the office staff. The receptionist which is new seems to be learning names and remembering them and it makes me feel good knowing that it's more personal then just a patient number. Any future patient should know that at the Weight Loss Clinic you will not only be treated by one doctor you will be treated by them all and they all are extremely nice. Rosenberger has a very structured aftercare program that is given to you in a manual, like a owner's manual of your new stomach. In this manual you will find what you should be doing for the next few weeks and what you should be avoiding. It also advises what should happen if you don't avoid the foods and things that are mention. Rosenberger really didn't go over any risks of the surgery with me as I told him I was aware of many of the risks and didn't have any questions regarding them. Unforturnately I never got the opportunity to see Dr. Rosenberger while I was in my own room, Dr. Small was on call and did the rounds to check on all the patients and his bedside manners were excellent. Overall I would rate Dr. Justin Rosenberger a 4 out of 5. And I only say that because no one is perfect but him, Dr Small and their staff are close to it.
