 I had WLS on 12/8/10 and came home the 10th. I was a little out of it for a couple of days. I did well during the day but my evening meal would usually not stay down. Went to see the Doctor on 12/20/10. I was given Metoclopram to help with the swelling. I was told to take it 30 minutes before eating the evening meal. That helped a lot. My activity level was great after the surgery. I am 6 weeks pro-op and I have lost 28 lbs. I will return to work next week. I have had a sinus infection and I hope that is what is causing my lack of appetite. I have been taking the generic chewable Flintstones vitamins and they are too tart for me. A friend told me to try Centrum.  Guess that is all I have to tell for now.

9 days and 17 hours to go. I am still anxious but ready to get this over with. I have been reading over and over the Nutrition Education class paperwork. I have been doing my protein shopping, still confused about it. I started the Liver Shrink Diet the 23rd the day before Thanksgiving. I feel like I have been on it for weeks but I have 8 more days of this then the liquid diet the day before surgery. My 10 year old is having a hard time dealing with this. He tells me he will not eat in front of me anything I can not eat. Sweet but not good. I told him things would change but it will be awhile.

I met with Dr. Weaver yesterday and I will have Gastric Bypass surgery 12/8/10.
