One More Week till Vacation

 Today my mother turned 92! We took her and Dad to Cracker Barrel to eat, then we took cupcakes to their house along with her gift (HP Deskjet Printer) and we hooked it up for her. I got a grilled chicken salad and when I was done eating you could barely tell I ate any of it.
Next week hubby and I are both on vacation and my week consists of: blood tests before a contrast dye cat scan, the scan and then more blood tests to determine if I can restart my Metformin. I think I'll just schedule my overdue mammogram too...lol. So I guess we're not going anywhere and will use some of the vacation money for surround sound in the living room.
I have a bulge at an incision site and went to see the surgeon, so thats why I have to have the scan done, to determine if it's a hernia or not. I sure hope NOT cause that means more surgery and I can't afford to be off work again.
I am down 30 lbs since surgery and people are starting to notice. Still have 34 to go till I reach the goal my dietician set for me, which I personally think is high. Starting going to the local fitness center to swim but my bathing suit didn't work out so good so I'm waiting for a new one to come, hopefully tomorrow, so I can get back to swimming!
