I have not had the surgery yet. I have been seeing my doctor for 4 months making sure we have everything that the insurance requires. I have found a surgeon through my insurance company. I talked to a customer service rep that just happened to have the surgery and told me of a clinic in my area. I am hoping to have the surgery by June.

I finally got approved for the bypass. I am now waiting to have my surgery scheduled. I'm getting a little nervous about this though. After reading some profiles, I am feeling somewhat better.

I have my surgery scheduled for October 7. Just less than 2 weeks. I am getting a little excited now. My sister-in-law just had her surgery. She went to Mexico to have her surgery. She is doing well so I do believe I will be fine also. Can't wait

I had my surgery on October 7. Spent 3 days at the clinic and came home 6 pounds heavier. I went in today for my 1 week follow-up and have lost 12 pounds so far.
