Hi Jim, FABULOUS weight loss!! FANTASTIC Pics, and your profile is great you give so much info and I am sure you are an inspiration for all the pre-ops. Our stats are pretty similar, except for age and gender, and my open RNY was March 13th, one day before you! On October 13th, at 7 mo post op I have lost 112#!!!! My goal is 170#, that may change, we will see, but this journey has been a real learning experience for me and I'm sure for you. Stay in touch and let us all know when you reach GOAL!!!! BIGGHUGGZZZZ

Jim. I really enjoyed reading your profile. I am having my surgery the 23. I am not a male but of the 3 people I know personally 2 are men and are doing great. I am meeting new people at the 2 support groups I attend and the results are amazing. Only a few with "problems" that are now gone and the healing started. I hope you don't mind I forwarded your page to my nephew. He's in the "thinking/researching" stages. and He his health is not the best due to his weight. Your are doing GREAT! Keep us updated. GOd bless Jamie

Love the sense of humor and that you put it out there to get your "head on straight" about this surgery and most especially your recommendation of KNOWLEDGE! Kudos to you! GAWD, I know the pain of a JP tube too!!! :) Here's to wowin'em in wranglers! - Mary Ann

Hey Slim! It was great talking to you tonight. You sound wonderful. I'm SO jealous of the heavenly bed you had in the hospital - what a gift that was. I get past my jealousy thinking of how great it is that we've become friends over this journey. I'm really looking forward to a time, soon, when Alan and I can join you and Kathy for some face-to-face visiting. You're doing great and will keep doing great! I admire your courage and strength. Hugs, Barb
