smell of food

I find on the protein drinks for up coming surgery Monday,  that I am not hungry unless I smell food cooking. Will this get better? I  want to even go in to stores or drive by certain place that you can smell them cooking. I am getting nervous and excited. I am so glad to be resolving some of my medical issues. I am so achy from arthritis without meds. But I will make it log
