I'm Jackie's angel, her dad. It's been 3 days since her operation. Overall, she has done well, but had a couple of problems with her I V, and now has some nausea. We think this is normal stuff, and look forward to better days. We are pleased with the hospital ( modern and clean ) and the staff, who are professional and supportive. We hope Jackie can come home today.

Jackie, I'm wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely No regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. I can say, without a doubt, that it is the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.
