My name is Juliana and I am 25 years old. I guess you could say that having my son in 2005 was the start of it. I remember getting on the scale the day he was born and it said 269 lbs. How did I ever get that big?? Well having a child with colic, there was no such thing as sleep. No sleep meant that I didn't exercise and I ate whatever I could while holding him. Needless to say I lost maybe 10 lbs, and that's about it. I have hovered around 250 to 260 lbs for the past almost 3 years. Nothing has worked and now that my health has started to take a toll, I knew it was time to do something. I started my journey at St. Mary's but ended up at St. Lukes. I will be having the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass with Dr. Lenz.
