Well, here it is four years later! Wow, who would have thought my life would be so entirely different. I started out at 387 lbs. and right now I enjoy a healthy 195 lbs! I am loving life and enjoying every minute of it. The only hitch I've had in the whole event is this past few months I had to go in and have some adhesions removed. My stomach had been hurting and it was difficult for me to eat. After many tests, my surgeon wanted to just go in and have exploratory surgery. Good thing he did, he found multiple adhesions and they were wrapped around my liver, pulling and making me feel so sick! Other than that, I have had zero complications! I would tell anyone to have this done. It will change your life for the better.
The other thing that I would like to discuss that doesn't get much talk is the issue of being an addicitive personality. Right after the surgery, of course I started losing like crazy. What people did not tell me to look out for was the "addiciton" issue. I began partying and drinking like crazy. I ended up for the first time in my life with a real drinking problem! Found at later, this is not uncommon. So, watch out for that little issue!
If your thinking of this, go for it! You'll not regret it.
