hi everyone, it's been a long while. guess i've been too busy catching up on life again. just had my 1 year post op and everythng looks good.
if you are even considering this... don't hesitate.. just do it. no regrets.. just bliss! 

hey all.. it's been two weeks and I feel pretty good so far. down 20 lbs and already at a plateau.. grrr

Hi Everyone!!!
I have been avoiding this site like the plague for the last couple of months. I was so discouraged about the process taking so long that I just shut it off and went back to my old ways. Well.. the good news is my surgery date has been set for September 28/09!!! I have gained a lot of the weight I lost back but I feel ready to get going again. Looking forward to getting together with my friends from OH soon...

Well, I am not in a happy place right now. I have gained back all of the pre-op weight I lost waiting for my surgery date.

Well, here I am on an adventure of a lifetime. When I started out, getting healthy through weightloss seemed like the only thing I was focused on. Now, after the preop tests it is clear there are many aspects to overall health that I was really neglecting to think about. Upon routine bloodtesting it was discovered that my C-reactive protien was very high, so off  I go to the cardiologist to discover why and what to do about it. I am happy that I am discovering other ways to get healthy besides the surgery alone.

This is a nightmare! Correct me if I'm wrong, but am I not getting the surgery because I can't lose weight? Bloody Hell!
