Cape Fear Valley Bariatrics Program

"IT was Ok I had a room to myself and a nice hallway to walk."

Leo Davidson

"My first impression was from a group meeting he has once a month. He did not seem to hold anything back good or bad about the operation and what life would be after. One on one he is a nice guy and straight forward which I like. Office staff was good like any office setup they work hard and with a lot of patients, so it goes best if you stay on top the process and make sure all the i's or dotted and the t's are crossed I was able to get insurance approval in 7 days after testing. The whole staff and the Doctors are all about after care. Many of the staff are or have been patients so they really know the score and how it works. As for as the Risk every surgery has risk Dr. Davidson let me know what they where and made sure I knew them. I was 415 at one point a year ago I only know that because I had Kidney Stone and had to have a Operation my scale at home could not weight me. I have only lost about 13 LB on my own 85% of all men 400+lbs do not live to 50 years old. So for me the math is easy live 8 to 10 more years and not do half the thing I would like to in life or take the risk adn live 15+ years and do the traveling and the camping and all the other things me and wife would like to do. Over all right now I would rate him 95%, I am more worried about surgical competence than any this else I would like him to get more office staff for the number of patients he has. I also hope to play a role in the support group I would like to see them more than onces a month."
