Psyched

Mar 20, 2009

Ok, I am psyched and need to post it. I got into a small pair of 16 jeans that I have had hangin on my closet door now for about 2-3 weeks. Can't remember how long for sure that I have had them but, I bought 2 pair in the store and one fit tight and the others were too tight. They are snug today but still comfy and I can wear them without any pain... LOL. I am just so excited that I got into them today and they fit good. I guess this is a WOW moment. And in 8 months I have gone from a 49.9 BMI to a 35.5 BMI.
YEAH ME!!

6 months out

Feb 04, 2009

I had my 6 month check up Tuesday and I have lost 78 lbs now!!  I feel great and just couldn't believe that its been 6 months. I am still struggling with my energy levels but I think some of that may very well be the winter blues. Living in Indiana has been a struggle this winter with as much ice and snow that we have gotten. I do have to admit that I like the change of seasons here in my little home town but, a person does get real tired of the cold and it makes you welcome spring and long for summer! I have thoughts of gardening and all the flowers I planted in the fall will be so beautiful when they come up this spring. I guess its a good thing that I am longing for all that yard work because I am going to need that exercise so I better be ready. :)

Pic's

Jan 21, 2009

Well, I finally got some photo's posted here. I guess I had to make the dimensions smaller in order to upload them. Isn't it amazing how you don't notice just how bad you look until you look back? I have my hospital photo's and pre-surgery photo's and then I have a few post-op ones. I haven't taken any recently but plan on taking a few to see how much of a dif it makes.

I am so bad at getting on the computer anymore from home. I have to sneak on here from work and we have actually been busy lately so, I haven't had alot of time. I'm just glad the holiday's are over and things can be put back in place in my house (ha-ha). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the holiday season but, afterwards I just feel glad to be done with it all and get back to a normal functioning life. Normal? Ok, well that might be stretching it. I am just glad to wake everyday and take in a breath of air, thank the lord for my bounties and start a new day with the intention of making it better than the one before.

p.s. I must say, I long for warmer weather because I need to get exercise in my daily routine and I can't seem to do that. I want to plant my garden and work out in the yard and enjoy some sunshine. I want to put my "ruby slippers" on and wish for spring to get here. I think I have the winter blues (ya think?).

God Bless
