I went to my first support group meeting last night.  It was very helpful.  I have been having very mixed feelings about my decision to have had my surgery.  It is just so hard and frustrating.  I spoke with a woman who was 8 months post op and she said she felt the same way I did at that point, but it does get much better with time.  It helped so much to have my feelings and frustrations validated.  I am not going crazy, it is just part of the process.

It has been 4 days since my surgery.  I am feeling much better.  A little weak.  I assume that has alot to do with the anesthia.  I am have only been without real food for 5 days and I already miss it.  LOL  I know it is worth it.
