"When I first met Dr Strom could tell he had a passion for helping people with an obesity problem and would go to unmeasurable lenghts to ensure that approval would be granted. My impression of Dr Strom has not changed. When I made my commitment to him to maintain a doctor patient relationship he made that same commitment to me. The office staff at Montclair Surgical Associates are very helpful and friendly. Future patients should be prepared to commit themselves to the lifestyle change. Dr Strom stresses to all patients at the seminar/consult/discharge that aftercare is key to sucess with WLS. Dr Strom's office has a very structred after care program which includes nutritional counseling. support groups and personal training (Mountainside Hospital). It was explained to me that as with all surgery there are risk the key to minimizing those risk is sticking with the program. On a scale of 1 to 100 I would rate Dr Strom and Staff 1000 % my experience exceeded the expectation."
