Well I finally had the surgery. On 12/28 my lap band was placed. I had to stay on liquids until Saturday because of the swelling but seem to be tolerating protein drinks and cottage cheese now no problem. I had a six month wait because of my health insurance but managed to take some weight off during that time as well. It was difficult doing this over the holidays but when have i ever lost weight over the holidays...neverrrrr.
