I can't believe its already been 2 weeks!! 

Dr. Gibbs was happy with me.........seem to be all healed up nicely.

I haven't felt any nausea, haven't thrown up.......  I still feel hungry, and I am not sure I know when I am full.  I have read lots of messages here that the feeling full thing might take awhile.

I am on the soft food diet, which is boring..........I sure would like to tuck into something a bit different, but I guess I have to wait awhile for that.

So far so good...........I am bored at home, so I think I will return to work sometime next week.

I just read thru my old posts there...........it sure didn't sound like I was going to go thru with it huh?  I guess I was lucky to be approved so quickly not too much time to change my mind.

Surgery was October 3rd at 12.30pm......and without a doubt the bravest thing I have ever done in my life.

It's only been four days, and the gas in my tummy hurts like crazy, but the Doctors are correct it seems to get a little easier each day.

I am going to Disney World for Thanksgiving this year (the plane tickets were all purchased way before I started looking into this surgery) I am a little concerned how it will be by then........I believe it will be 7 weeks out by the time I leave.  Anyway, I have a goal .......by Thanksgiving I want to have lost "some" weight and be feeling much better than I am now!!  :)

OK, I have my surgery date.  Wednesday October 3rd.  Will meet my doctor on Tuesday 2nd October, and the dietician.......  I guess I will find out on that day if I can have the surgery done lap or open.  This is all happening so fast.....

Yes, I am still terrified!!

........Just got a phone call, I am approved for surgery.  The lady from the Doctors office asked me when I would like to schedule my surgery, and was very happy to tell me my insurance is picking up the tab other than about $50........

I had some people with me, and as some of you know, I still haven't told anyone other than my husband that I am even looking into WLS.  So, I told her I'd call her back............

Well, just called her back...........I just don't think I have the courage to go thru with it.............pathetic as I am............I feel absolutely miserable.

........well I start my journey.  My doctors office entered my insurance details to start the approval process.  How come I am so scared already!!  I have never had any kind of surgery before, my greatest fear has always been hospitals............why can't I just be scared of spiders or something!!

.................been over weight for at least 100 years, looking into bypass surgery........did I mention I am terrified?
