Rex Sherer

"Dr. Sherer was an extremely nice person and I felt comfortable with him. His office nurse & other staff members were friendly and accomodating. He said I wasn't really that big...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I wanted to choke him. But since I qualified for the surgery he assured me that he was going to do it. Ha, I already knew that. My precious husband interrupted and told Dr. Sherer how much I disliked myself the way I am now and Dr. Sherer explained that his comment was meant to let me know that there are people in this world much heavier than I am. That is true, but I am so tired of being tired all the time and having so much wrong with me. I won't to be able to get out in the yard and play with my dog again and my g'children and not have to stop playing after 5 to 10 minutes. He was very informative about the surgery. He is a God-fearing man and told my husband and myself that neither himself or I would be in our own hands that we would be in the good Lord's hands. My husband was thrilled to hear that. The risks of surgery were explained in detail as well as the hospital stay. I meet with the nurse on 28May and I am sure I will be discussing all other aspects of the surgery and post-op then. I would give Dr. Sherer a great big 10. I think surgical competence is most important and bedside manner right next in line. But a God-fearing man is going to do great at both. The day we met with him he made us feel quite comfortable. "
