OK, so WTF? I got on the scale this morning and it said 220 pounds, thats 55 pounds lost since surgery on April 18th. I was and still am in complete denial. It is just very hard to believe because I have not been down this far in a very very loooooooong time.

Well when I started this journey I was at 289 pounds (that was October 30th). Since having surgery on April 18th I am down to 242 pounds..whooohooo!!! Well thats what my scale says anyway...the scales at work vary from 243 to 248.....sooo the true test will be on June first when I go see Dr. Roye for my fill. Its been an up and down battle...somedays I really miss piggin out but I usually get myself back on track by just thinking of how healthy I will be and how good I will look. Im eating soft foods now, eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, basically anything I can chew up reallly reallly good..healthy stuff anyway.

Its getting closer and closer to surgery time, only 14 days to go, wow. I didnt think it would ever come! Im freakin out a lil bit because I dont think I have enough information I need to be successful. Thank god for this site and the lapband forum that I joined. I get a lot of good information from all of you!!! Ive been reading a lot of horror stories about how people dont lose any weight, or just lose a little bit of weight. I soooo hope that doesnt happen to me!!!

My very first appointment with Dr. Roye was October 30th, its seems like soooo long ago!!! I just got approved by Dr. Messier, the Psych Doc, for my surgery and should be getttin my surgery date when I go in on March 30th for my final appt with Dr. Roye.
OK...so here I am. 270 pounds. My first appoitment with Dr. Roye I was 289 so Ive lost some weight. Actually I lost almost 30 pounds but have gained some back...as usual! That seems to be the problem...I can lose some but I just gain it all back, plus some!! Im a bit worried that I havent lost enough weight and Dr. Roye wont do my surgery...ill just say sum prayers and keep my fingers crossed!! So here is my first fat story for my new blog-----
This morning I brought my daughter to Head Start Daycare with my 2 older sons in tow. They all had little snack bags with cheerios in them. My daughter of course had to bring them in with her to school. So we get to her class and so far no spilling of the cereal. As im siging her in, i hear it...the sound of little cheerios hitting the floor...OMG.....the first thing that went through my mind is " how the hell am i gonna bend over and pick them up?" Good lord im wearing a long jean skirt too that has absolutely no flexibility!! Well..someone has to pick it up and do you think the teacher would have offered to help NOOOO....geez. So I did it, I bent over (couldnt kneel down for fear of not being able to get back up) recruited my boys to help (what little help they were) picked up all the little cheerios and stood back up, I was light head though and boy was i out of breath....I hate my fat moments!!!! lol

WHOOO HOOOOO got my surgery date....19 days from today!! April 18, 2007 I cant believe i got my date so soon. I figured id have to wait at least a couple of months..wow...I have so many questions, what do i bring to the hospital, what can i eat or not eat afterwards, what to expect the first couple of days..OMG...someone please let me know, give me all your advice pleassse...im so happy, I feel like im jumpin outta my skin...LOL
