Had band put on in July 05. It worked great for 4 years and was removed in July 09. Devastating!! So kind of back to square 1......I've gained some weight back but trying super hard to stay active.

Well, I had my first visit to the Dr. 2 weeks ago and will be going back in 3 weeks. She said we can schedule my surgery that day. I had been hoping for the Bypass but prior to going had started to look into the Lap Band. Turned out to be a good thing, that's what the Doc suggested. I am so excited I can't sit still. I had lost 9.5 pounds whent I went to see her so she was pleased and asked me to keep the scale going down but put no number requirement on me. Thank God!!!Pressure. I am hoping for a surgery date in July. It has been over a year that I have been going through all of this hoop jumping and now I hope to have smooth sailing and have the surgery.
