"Dr. Alvarez is a great surgeon. He took the time to talk with me and answer all my questions honestly and made me feel comfortable. I went alone but his Dr. A and his staff took great care of me. I was constantly checked on by the nursing staff and Dr Alvarez himself. Susan and I traded several emails before I went down and several afterwards. The surgery went smoothly and I had no complications afterwards. I had the surgery on 11-26-07 and I am already down 65 lbs. I would recommend Dr. Alvarez and his staff to anyone. "
