well everyone thursday afternoon I went for my first post-op visit and in the past 13 days I have lost 41 pounds...I am so freakin excited!!!

Well things are going well I am just getting to feeling like posting my first message. I am doing well so far and eating is the furtherest thing from my mind. I just make sure to focus on moving as well as keeping hydrated. Having a few comfort issues sleeping at night but it is getting better night by night. I am healing well it looks like to me. I have to give myself 2 shots a day for blood thinners so that is tons of fun.

they have called and moved up the surgery headed to the hospital now so I will get back to everyone in a few days say a little prayer for me...THANKS!!!

Well I am really excited I have spent a lot of time with family and friends this weekend. I am so excited my Dad arrives in less than one hour. He is getting to stay 2 weeks this will make the operation so much easier he is a nurse so I will have 24 hr nurse care when I get home. So whats on everyones mind andymore words of encouragement???

Well friends its a go as of 5 o'clock friday afternoon everything is set. I am pre-admitted for a tuesday afternoon surgery with Dr. Schwartz here in Tucson, AZ. Hell yes I am excited and nervous all in one gulp...lol. As I left the doctors office yesterday Emily was making me smile and laugh. I am so fortunate to have a great doctor but not only that he has a great staff. Laurie worked so hard when scheduling my surgery. Emily I am not sure where to start she is the one that kept me encourage and kapt me from just walking away that first night. Through this hole process she has encouraged me and held concern for my well being. Thanks to Dr. Schwartz, Emily, & Laurie for making me feel so comfortable. If anyone wants to write me while I i recover please let me know I would be happy to give you an address or we can email...lol
