Hi Kimberly. First of congrats on the beginning of your new life. I have RNY on 8-10-05. I have lost 95 pounds so far.....bout 30 to go. Like you I was SCARED TO DEATH!! Don't be afraid.....it is not as bad as you have it built up in your mind to be. I am the biggest pain baby in the world....believe me I have no pain tolerance and panic every time I go to the hospital. I hate being that way!! They will give you something to relax you in the hospital before the surgery. I have NEVER had one day of regret. I would do this again in a second!! I finally get to see what "normal" is like....I never thought that would happen. I thank God everyday for this second chance at life. I checked your profile....you are beautiful!! Now you will be beautiful and HEALTHY. I will keep you in my prayers for a safe and successful surgery. I did exactly what the doctor said.....and had ZERO complications.
