I had surgery on 11/18/09. I feel great. Just a little discomfort. Having a hard time with the protein shakes. My taste changed. Everything tastes so sweet. But other than that I am doing well.

I went for my pre-op blood work today. Another step closer.

My appointment went great. I've lost 12 lbs since I started. I can anticipate surgery in July if all goes well.  I have to go for an abdominal ultrasound and lab work next week.  I have my psych visit next month and I also have surgery class next month. Then in June I meet with the surgeons and they send the letter to the insurance company for approval. Once that is doen I can schedule my surgery date. OMG I can't believe it is right around the corner.

I have my 4th appointment tomorrow. This is a big one. I have to meet with everyone on the team, pay the program fee and have all sorts of blood work done.  I am very excited. This fells like the "real beginning" of the program.
