my band is gone!

Surgery went well as far as the fundal plication; no reflux so far; I am sooo disappointed; my band had slipped very far down and from what I understand he couldnt get my band back on; not sure why exactly; i am hungry! I never wanted to fill hunger again; I am terrified; I am so depressed right now; I dont want to see anyone. I'm afraid everyone will be watching me to see if I eat too much or if I gain weight; I dont want to get fat again! I have no will power; what am I going to do???? I hate myself right now.

Am having so much GERD (reflux) that my doctor wants to remove my band and do a Nissen procedure where the fundus or top of the stomach is wrapped around the esophagus and sutured there. He may be able to replace the band but isn't sure. I am ready for this surgery as this reflux is simply miserable. I can only drink liquids and sometimes I have trouble keeping that down. I'm trying to drink protein shakes to keep my body healthy until my surgery 8/13/07; I'm so afraid of becoming hungry and gaining wgt if I can't get my band back! He doesn't think it's slipped,just thinks my valve that is supposed to only open one way is not working.

I had hiatal hernia repair Feb 2005; lab band 5/05; now my reflux is back and severely! I am having endoscopy in Dec. I'm terrified something is wrong with the band. Pray for me!
