Hi, thought I would share my story. I am 34, female and have been overweight most of my adult life. I was anorexic/bulemic when I was a child (12) until about 22. I have been married for 9 years and am fortunate to have married my best friend. I have two step sone, 12 and 18 and do not have any biological children. I have a very supportive family and small group of friends that are great. I started looking at WLS about a year ago and got approved in Aug. My surgery date is Oct 4th 2007. I have a lot of interests like hunting, fishing, camping and such that will get better as I lose weight. I hope to learn to live life healthier and longer and enjoy it.
