Well, I am still trying new foods. Chinese and steak are definitely out but I am finding a new love of grilled chicken. I found out over the last two weeks that it is important to follow the rules. I stopped drinking all the water and munched on fast food and only lost 5 pounds in two weeks. When I started eating right again, I am back to losing an average of two pounds a day. I am down 57 pounds from my highest weight. I am still getting used to people commenting on my weight and it being a positive comment. My father hadn't seen me for a month and, despite the fact that he was on his way to the hospital emergency room, his first comment was how I was "melting away".

Well, today I finally was able to weigh myself on my scale at home. I am a month post-op and down 45 pounds from my highest weight. I just started eating solid food and my stomach is talking to me. I guess it will be a trial and error time until I find the foods that agree with me. I am getting my energy back and I can now work a full day and go exercise before I am exhausted.

Well, now I am two weeks post op and until today, I had no real side effects. Today, the vomiting finally started. I am still getting the hang of eating slowly and today my body decided to remind me that I had to do that. I am back at work full-time and started working out at Curves this week. I have lost 20 pounds so far, much to my amazement. I didn't want to get my hopes up before the surgery since every diet I tried had failed. I guess I thought if I didn't get my hopes up, I wouldn't be disappointed. I was shocked when I went to my regular doctor for a routine checkup and was already down the 20 pounts. I guess I can started getting excited about the weight loss. I can't wait until I am down enough to be able to weigh myself on my scale at home. The stupid scale is electronic and it just tells me I weigh E (which I assume stands for error).
