October 24, 2007 I finally had my "Day of Doctors" in San Diego. It went fast. But I should have brought a snack, as there was no place to get anything healthy to eat between visits. All said they would aprove the surgery...but I am holding my breath ...until the Surgery Date is provided. I hope to have Surgery before the end of September. I will update more when I get more information.
I am a Kaiser paitent, had to complete the six month looooonnnnggg options class. Very informative...and I learned a lot...but the thing could have been much shorter. Highest weight 287....currently 266.5.....hope to be less prior to surgery date.
