Happy ONE Year Anniversary to You! I hope that this post finds you healthier and happier than ever. Please remember the importance of keeping your profile updated so that others can follow your progress. Have a great day!
5-10-01 Kathy I did not get a chance until today to make any posts. I am soooooo sorry. I wanted to let you know that I appreciate the friendship that we have through having this surgery. If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have met you. You are a very funny and special girl. Keep your head up cause you did the right thing for you!!! I care about you and wish you great success. I hope we can remain friends for a long time. I am looking forward to sharing our successes in the months to come. Hugs to you.
5-10-01 I talked to Kathy this morning and she sounds very well. The surgery went well and so did the upper GI. She said the upper GI was kinda miserable because her pain medication wore off while having the GI done. She also was switched to another pain medication because the morphine pump gave her headaches. Other than these couple of things, she is good, just a bit tired. She said she wanted to get some sleep today.
Kathy is a wonderful person I met in our surgeon's office. I am with you all the way. You know you have my thoughts and prayers during this surgery. Next week at this time we will both be on our way to a better life.
Good luck Kathy! :) I have a lot of family in Punxsy so I feel that you are part of it too!:) Just think after you're on the other side, Phil won't be the only one liking his shadow ;)! *giggles* (I know I can't wait to see mine after I drop this "extra person.") I can't wait to join you, I'm still waiting for a date :(! God bless and I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Kathy, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine almost six months ago, and I have never had a single regret. Fortunately, the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
