01/01/2009 Happy New Year ! I wanted to say I have been taking my pills whole now for about 3 weeks without having to cut them up or crush them. My blood sugar dropped last night so I had to eat crackers fast..I hate that feeling.I will have to watch my blood pressure since I still take 3 pills .

04/07/2009 I am now off Lantus insulin, off one Zocor and Zetia, and take just two blood pressure pills, I take half of Januvia.I take extra B-12, Extra Vit C 2000mg daily, Vit.E 2000 mg daily,  Boiton 3 a day...

I have lost to date on my scales 30 pounds...I don't like protein powder ,but I have to have it..Soooooooo I bought 2% milk, Instant Breakfast and unflavored Unjury protein powder. I mix it by spoon. Untill I can't see any white powder.Then I drink it.
Milk has 8% g.protein in one cup. Instant Breakfast has 6% g.one packett, Then I add one scoop of unflavored Unjury protein powder with 20g. of protein.Total around 34 g. in one cup.

04/07/2009 I'm sitting at 206 pounds now for two months...I am a little worried...since all the exercise I get is cleaning house and walking in Walmart once a week..I have increased my Unjury protein powder from 3 scoops to 5 scoops in warm water with a little coffee to take out sweetness of Cho. Unjury.

12/14/2008..I'm down another 5 pounds...I read the post on here.

I noticed I to did not have much  hungry feelings ,but knew I had to eat..I would eat some foods and be really sick running to the bathroom vomiting  which I could feel my colon..And it stand to reason that it was affecting my small tummy..
 I started paying attention to my body.... Spasms that would not go away only with antidiarrheal meds only for short period times ..But knew this was not the answer..So it hit me that I was having upper colon spasms..Then I remembered I may still have some medication I was given sometime ago for spasms,  that I did not have at the time...

 I started putting Benefiber in my Crystal Light energy drinks and Lipton Ice Tea for energy. Great stuff...Then I took my anti spasm drug and noticed within 10 mins. that my bloating went down and I felt better..I did this before bed because it makes me sleepy..
I noticed the next morning I was hungry and had taste buds back..
I'll let you know how this works out.

11/30/2008 I'm down from 251 to 231.5..I am eating refried beans with cheese, Slim fast low carb with one scoop of protein powder mixed in.
Drink water, gatorade..cottage cheese mixed with jello, crackers with peanut butter, pudding, jello, broth mixed with protein powder.
I don't do well with noodles even soft ones..non ground up meats.
12/1/2008 I go to see my Surgeon before going home the next day.
12/2/2008 I leave for Georgia from Ohio...I will be homesick..
04/07/2009 I still have dumping when I eat anything sweet,

11/10/2008 I had my surgery . All went well. I was on ice chips an djello the first two days. Dry heaves and pain..The medication kept me stoned but it was needed at the time. Now that it's out of my system..I feel and think different..I stayed three days. And came home and slept all night. Walking helps. Ice water also helps with the swelling of you new tummy.
I had a wonderful surgeon he knows his craft well...I'm not just saying that. I would not have Dr. T who is in his office just Dr. S.
11/23/2008 ..I have tried soft food and was sick on some...I still take in Liq.'s and very little soup with soft noodles made small to eat.
My bowels are back to wher they were before surgery.

High blood pressure , Heart Disease, Slightly enlarged Heart , Insulin Resistance..I take almost 3,000.00 of medication a year.

10/29/2008 my surgery will be in Miamisburg Ohio. I'm from there and feel better about medical care there.

10/28/2008 I have a surgery  date November 10, 2008 two days before my 55 birthday.

7/20/2008..I'm looking into Doctor near my home in Dayton Ohio..whom I've heard good things about...I don't know what surgery he will do yet untill I see him...I have the paperwork and am working on filling it out..This has been a very long process for me...Now I have to drive home for this surgery.
