I had a open GB in Fair Oaks Hosptial with Dr. Anez in 1997 and lost over 100lbs within thin the first 5 years. The next five years I stalled and lost no more weight even though I had about 70lbs to go. I regained only 10lbs in 10 years, I consulted with Dr. Halmi and Dr. Tran and we decided that the lap band would be helpful in assisting me lose the rest of my weight to reach my goal. I am hoping to continue with my weight loss journey and live a healthier lifestyle.
