Well,I have completed 6 months of medically supervised program, (after 4months with another program) and taken my 2 pre op classes, now just waiting to find out if I'm approved for the bypass.
I have been reading the posts and trying to learn as much as I can before going in. I truly think the 6 months is helpful , if you use that time to learn and get ready for the changes that are going to take place. I eat less, move more and have had time to work on my head! As someone said this week in Support Group: "It's stomach surgery, not brain surgery! " I have read some good books to get ready and been on a diet using the medical shakes, so geeting use to it.
So , just waiting......
