06-25-2004 Hi Kelly! My name is Connie, and i'm a Bariatric Surgery Coordinator for a surgeon. Just wanted you to know, that my daughter was also diagnosed with PCOS. She had a open RNY on June 16th by the doc I work for, she is doing great. She is nine days postop and has already lost 22 pounds. I wish you well with your journey for a healthier life. If I can help in any way, please let me know. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Hi Kelly, I'd say don't be nervous but heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing because my surgery went fine. For me, the week before surgery was harder than the week after just because of those pesky nerves. Keep it positive. That means only positive people around you. The negative ones are just ill-informed. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true!
