Home from the hospital after having gastric bypass surgery on July 1.  Surgery went very well, and I am doing fine.  The first few days of recovery were a little rougher than I had hoped, but not unmanageable.  My surgeon was Dr. Thomas Magnuson.  He and his team work out of the John's Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore.  From start to finish, everyone I dealt with was a consummate professional, and I believe that the care I received was exceptional.  Now comes the really hard part - changing a lifetime of eating habits to become a more active, healthier me!
