"Laurie is very knowledgeable and likes to give you as much information as she can. She's also very honest about what she thinks works best. She's very down to earth and easy to talk to, so there's not much fear involved in being truthful with her about your struggles. Very nice, very friendly, very educated with respect to wls patients. What more can you ask for?"

"The surgery itself was good -- Dr. Tran is very talented and concerned about his patients. Other doctors seemed very good as well. The ER was a nightmare, and the staff -- particularly the nurses aide staff, and particularly the nighttime nurses aide staff -- were horrible. I had a wound contamination which resulted in them having to open up my wound, and I hold the nurses aides completely responsible for it because they decided not to change my dressing when I accidentally hit my table & it spilled my FULL bedpan onto my stomach, despite the fact that I requested they change it. "
"Dr. Roslin is very talented and very confident. He speaks and moves pretty quickly, but this is because he knows what he's doing. He's very informed on the subject of wls and tells you the truth -- good and bad. If I have questions, he gets back to me quickly, and if I'm very concerned about something, he'll have me in the office to take a look and reassure me that things are fine.
He does have a structured aftercare program, and since I had some complications early on he had me come in once a week to keep a close eye on me. "
