North Colorado Medical Center (COE)

"It's a great hospital. Their hospitality house ($15 a night stay for family) is great and you couldn't find a better deal. They are family friendly and very accomodating with your needs as well as family needs."

Michael W. Johnell M.D., F.A.C.S

"I really appreciate Dr. Johnell and the staff in his office. I have a miserable time getting to my appointment due to road closures and terrible weather, but they made sure I was seen, even when I was extremely late. They were great! The nurse who first saw me, forgive me I can't remember her name, was very nice and pleasant. She even apologized for the time we waited to see Patrice, the RN. No need to apologize, we were late!! Patrice is awesome. She really knows her stuff and seems to catch on to things that most wouldn't. She was very knowledgable and made me feel like a human, not someone who just "overeats" all the time. She was good with my husband and his questions/comments as well which was very important to me. She made sure that we felt comfortable with talking to her and that our questions were answered. We didn't feel rushed about asking questions and got the answers we needed. Dr. Johnell seemed very quiet, but good all the same. He spoke with me briefly about why I was choosing RNY, looked over all my information, listened to my heart and lungs and said that I was a good candidate for surgery. It was short, but exactly what I expected. He was professional and polite. I would recommend Dr. Johnell and his staff with no reservations. They are a great group of people."
