I used to weigh 500lbs. i wore a size 56. I had failing healthy due to morbid obesity. what really woke me up was one day my blood pressure spiraled out of control. I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and when i arrived at the hospital my blood pressure was deadly high. by the time I got into the emergency room, I was remember seeing everything go black with my eyes opened. I thought i was talking but no one could hear me. everything disappeared and there was no sound or light. I was dead. I came back immediately. I went home that same day with no medicine given to me. I was told i went into cardiac arrest for a few few second. With the miracle i got that day, i went to get gastric banding. today i wear a size 12 but i want to get smaller. My blood pressure is normal as ever and I don't use medicine anymore. I feel great.
Recently, i sent Christmas card to family member who acted as if i was was dead or something. these people never invited me to any family event and asked my close family member to come their events and never once thought of me. when they got my pictures, i showed them my before picture. it had a sticky not that read; "I have truly changed, here is the old me." before they could take a look at the new me I had a sticky note on the picture that read: "the new me, me now today." Well, i have not heard from them and their mom and dad who is my aunt and uncle never mentioned my picture when i called until I mentioned it. she never a kind word about it. on Christmas my uncle called my sister and asked her is it true? My sister had no idea what he was talking about until he mentioned it. My sister was appalled. she shouted "of course that's her!" i was really hurt by that. I thought they would be happy but truthfully they never thought I would lose that weight and had already had their minds set on me being a loser forever. happily to say I am a loser a big weight loser, LOL.
