"My first impression of Dr. Bacal and his bariatric nurse coordinator, Terry Marentette, were very good. They both seemed very knowledgible about the RNY bypass and the Lap Band. When I first went to the bariatric seminar at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn I didn't have insurance that covered either surgery. Terry has been wonderful! She has guided me in the right direction to obtain the proper documentation for when my insurance did cover the surgery. She is a former RNY patient herself so she knows what she is talking about.
